Ich habe gestern eine Upcyclingausstellung mit meiner Oma in unserem schönen Uba(Umweltbundesamt ) besucht. Es ging darum aus nicht mehr benötigten Dingen bleibende Werte zu schaffen. Loukia Richards macht Kunst aus dem, was andere wegwerfen. Mit traditionellen Techniken schafft sie Textilcollagen aus alter Kleidung, Papier oder Verpackungsmaterialien.
I have visited an Upcyclingexhibition with my granny in the nice Uba yesterday. It was a matter from not more required things of creating remaining values. Loukia Richards makes art from that what others throw away. With traditional technics she creates textile collages from old clothes, paper or packaging materials.

Das sind aber schöne Fotos. Ihre Kunst erinnert mich sehr die Zeit, in der man sich sein Spielzeug selbst gebastelt hat. Besonders die kleinen Püppchen.
